3月19日晚七点，我院“湖应外语角”活动于西校区27栋101教室顺利开展。孙雯，田威老师以及外教老师Reena主持本次活动，广大英语爱好者积极参加。

本次外语角的目的一共有两个，其一为熟悉购物的相关词汇；其二是用游戏进行大量的口语对话练习。

活动内容：

过程一：Hangman 

在活动开始前，各位同学分为五个小组，每个组内有5-7人，进行猜词大比拼。例如：

教师/学生A在黑板上画横线，表示一个单词

学生猜测单词中出现了哪个字母 （共有6次机会）

B——V——

如果猜错了，就开始画一笔hangman

看是学生先猜全，还是hangman画完了，如果画完了那么最后一个回答的同学要接受 “punishment”，允许同伴之间协助

The given words (for reference): cosmetic; shampoo; toothpaste; lipstick; perfume

过程二：Brands 

Students need to link the brands with their possible interpretations.

Imagine：Alipay has chosen you to be the “Koi（锦鲤）”in 2021, and your favorite brand invites you to endorse for it. Could you introduce this brand to others and persuade them to buy it?

过程三：Smart shopper

Individual work: choose some gifts for one of your family members or friends

Group work: share your opinions with your partner

Outcome：select out the “smartest shopper”

Attention: You only have 500 RMB to buy these gifts

（选择性）衍生：role play 学生之间扮演服务员和顾客

三个过程结束后，本次英语角也就顺利落下帷幕了。
